How to Edit a Published Post or Create a New Post in Blogger/ Blogspot ?


Hello everyone, I hope that all of you are fine. Today I am going to tell about how to edit a published post or create a new blog post. If you are new in this field than its so useful post for you. Some times editing in a blog post required due to some reason. If there is a need to add more information in post, or want to change the title of post, many time we want to add new labels in old post than it will helpful and want to make other change in any published post , we can easily edit our blog post.

Follow these steps to make a post in Blogger/ Blogspot.

1. First log in to your blogger account.


2. Now click on Posts label from the list. See the below picture for help.



3. After it you can see all your published post of your blog. You can also see the all draft post by clicking on draft see in below picture.



4. Now click on Edit if your desired post to edit a post. And click on publish to publish a draft post. If you want to create a new post than click on new post.

5. Now you are at editing page, where you will edit your blog post and whatever you want.
That's all, now edit your published post and draft Post and you can create a new post.




Editing:


Title bar-

In the title bar at the top pf your post, Enter a title or change present title. Enter the text for your blog post inn the text field area, its simple as you work on Microsoft office or google documents.



Top tools bar-



Now use the tools along the top to edit the text, add links, and media to your blog post.

Compose/HTML- choose Compose mode to edit post in Simple Mode or Choose HTML mode to edit post in HTML.

You can edit here Font, Font size, Mode heading/ Subheading etc., Bold, Italic, Underline,Font Colour, Background colour, create link, Add photo, Add video, Page break, Align- centre/ left/ right, bullets, Quotes, Clear formatting, Spell checking, Language etc.

Side Tools bar-

On the right side of the screen are various setting for your post.

Labels- click Labels to enter tags for your post.

Schedule- You can either publish the post instantly, or choose Schedule to enter a specific time to publish the post.

Permalink- Select Permalink to acess the link to the post

Location-Tag a location to your post.


Description- Add Description to your Blog Post


Options- Under Options, Specify If Readers Can Leave Comments.



After you have finished working on blog, you can either save to leave and come back to work on that post at a later time, or you can choose to Preview to see the post preview or you can choose Publish to publish the post on your blog instantly.



After publishing or saving the post, you will be taken to editing page of your blog. To edit, view or delete your new post, simply roll the cursor over the posting, and these options will appear.



After your post has been published, it will appear on your blog instantly.
